First Real Post - Avery's Torticollis Update

As some of you know, our daughter has a condition called Torticollis. Its symptoms are a preference of turning her head to the right which is caused by tightened muscles in her neck/shoulder on the left side. This has caused a flat spot to develop on the back right quadrant of her head. The scans done 3 weeks ago rated it as severe for her age. We went back to her physical therapist today for a re-check and she had a 10% improvement in her range of motion. Everyone was pleased with this progress! Please keep your fingers crossed at our next appointment in 3 weeks that we see continued improvement. She also has another scan in 3 weeks to determine if we need to move forward with a helmet for her. Her brother had a helmet when he was 8 months old - apparently this can run in families. Since we've caught this early we should see very good improvement within just a few months. I'm hopeful we wont need to do the helmet, but if we do - its only a few months. We can get through anything :)
