Biting At School

As all parents of toddlers in daycare know, biting is just part of how children learn to interact with each other. We've been relatively lucky over the past year or so that H has only been bitten a few times and bitten back only twice that we know of. Well, tonite he came home with a fresh set of teeth marks on his arm :( For some reason we didnt get a written report this time, so I'll have to ask about it in the morning. H has been going through a big "fear" phase lately so I'm hopeful this won't make it worse. Everything scares him - whether its strong winds, a thunderstorm, loud noises or even the garbage disposal. In fact, he's still talking about an incident last week where an older child at his school pulled the fire alarm. Apparently he totally lost it and jumped into the arms of his teacher. Every day he says "fire fire scare me!" awwwwwww :( All part of growing up I suppose...maybe this explains why he doesnt stay in his own bed all night? Monsters in the closet? I sure wish those monsters would take a vacay!! We could use some sleep!!!
