Rice Cereal and Toddler Regression

Another milestone reached - we started Avery on rice cereal last week. We've been way more laid back about this with her than we were with Harrison. We're just not in a huge hurry or so worried about an exact schedule...kind of nice actually. The only issue is...so far she's not a real fan of cereal. Harrison took to it like a champ, but I think Miss A has texture issues, so we're going slow. She's also really congested right now and I dont want to make eating a bad experience for her. For the most part I usually sit her in the Bumbo for feedings, but yesterday decided to unpack the highchair from storage and see how she did in it. Ummmm....Harrison was having NONE of that! As soon as he saw it sitting in its old familiar spot he decided HE was going to have his snack there. Little monkey took the tray off and climbed right up for his chips and queso!
I've read that some of this is just toddler regression when a new baby is around; and I admit its kind of funny. So to date he has been in the highchair, regularly sits in the bouncy seat, would LOVE to get in the Jumperoo (but we wont let him), tried out the infant car seat last night and he's even climbed into the changing part of the Pack and Play! Fun times in the Greene household! It never gets old and each day is something new :)
